Summary
SUMMARY OF THE POSITION

This is a strategic talent acquisition role created to provide tactical and strategic talent acquisition support to various clients, and to add “bench strength” to the organization. Co. is seeking to hire a talented mid-level Human Resources professional who could progress in the organization and assume a senior level Talent Acquisition role, a site Human Resources position or Director-level role in the future.

The Manager, Talent Acquisition will be part of the human resources leadership enterprise-wide, partnering with Management and Corporate on HR leadership initiatives. He/she will help drive best practices in talent acquisition and talent management and in overall HR management practices, in order to foster a performance-driven culture.

The Manager, Talent Acquisition will primarily be responsible for supporting talent acquisition activities and strategies, creation of specialized reports to illustrate staffing accomplishments and activities, developing leadership competencies and skills to support business initiatives and growth strategies. He/she will develop and lead initiatives that enhance the capability and performance of Company front-line managers and team members.

Desired Experience
Minimum requirements

Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 5-10 years of relevant human resources experience in a large, well-respected, publicly-held corporation with a best-in-class Human Resources function. While pharmaceutical experience is not required, experience with a government-regulated industry is required. These industries in order of preference include, pharmaceutical (branded, generic, over-the-counter), medical devices, food and beverage. Experience must be in a growth-oriented, dynamic organization.

The ideal candidate will have significant talent acquisition experience along with strong experience managing the talent of an organization (i.e., recruiting, selecting, developing and retaining) is a must.
