Summary
This position will lead the Compensation function for the Corporate Segment, including acting as project manager for all Compensation programs (executive compensation, merit budgets, Management Incentive Program (MIP), broad-based, pool of shares, etc) and serving as the primary liaison with Corporate Compensation. Provide analysis of compensation programs to ensure Corporate Segment remains competitive to attract, retain and motivate workforce.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the function for the annual executive compensation process which includes base salary, Short Term Incentive Compensation (STIC), and Long Term Incentive (LTI) actions.
• Lead and work closely with HR Generalists on the annual compensation review process for the merit, MIP, POS and broad-based incentive programs.
• Direct the review and evaluation of all executive level positions across the segment using external market surveys and internal comparisons.
• Consult with senior management to develop and implement compensation programs that support the attainment of strategic business growth.
• Provide advice, consultation and training to senior management and HR generalists on all compensation related activities and practices.
• Research current trends in compensation and oversees external market analysis. Preparing complex/detailed analysis to assess the effectiveness of reward programs and make appropriate recommendations.
• Represent Corporate on Performance Management Program (PMP) core team and working with generalists to continue to provide support for pay for performance and the overall PMP process.
Desired Experience
Qualifications:
• 10 or more years of demonstrated HR/Compensation experience with large, complex employers.
• Bachelors Degree in business or related discipline from an accredited institution. A graduate degree is strongly preferred or WorldatWork CCP certification.
• Demonstrated business consulting skills.
• Ability to interface with senior executives.
• Must have expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel as well as PowerPoint application.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong project management skills, systems knowledge, and financial analysis skills
