Summary
We have an outstanding career opportunity for a successful Global Compensation, Benefits & HRIS Leader, located in New Jersey Offices. Working directly with the VP, Worldwide HR, you will provide the strategic direction for the design, implementation and administration of a new, consistent global compensation structure supported by needed technology platforms, and a new (yet to be determined) global HRIS system. Much of the work required will require building an infrastructure and supporting processes from the ground up. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual.

Responsibilities include:
• Create a new unified global compensation planning structure together with a new HRIS infrastructure. This will be critical to the Company’s global business strategies.
• Design and manage domestic US and international compensation programs, including market pricing, base compensation components, long and short term incentive plans and equity based compensation programs. Extensive experience in compensation management and design—both broad based and executive compensation is critical for this role! Experience with sales compensation design and planning is important as well.
• Establish a new, consistent, and unified global compensation program - benchmarking protocols; a systematic and consistent linkage between compensation and performance; develop and roll out consistent global communications about the Company’s compensation philosophy and programs.
• Work with external consultant on a needs analysis to determine the elements for a global HRIS platform that will facilitate development of HR programs, compensation planning, performance management, succession planning and other HR initiatives. Lead final selection process and implementation design for the deployment of a global HRIS system.
• Implement the new global HRIS platform working with IT and other key stakeholders.
• Design, develop and implement benefit plan offerings globally; communicate the plans in a consistent manner, recommending and implementing employee self service solutions.
• Review current benefit offerings and make necessary recommendations to keep programs contemporary and competitive, based on market data and detailed cost analysis; drive implementation of any approved benefit changes.



Desired Experience
Position Requirements include:
• A minimum of 10 years experience in developing and administering compensation and benefits programs and implementing HRIS systems within a global business environment, preferably within the technology industry.
• Bachelors degree required in related area.
• Broad background and understanding of total compensation components – base pay, incentive pay, sales compensation programs, executive compensation, linkage of pay to performance
• Experience in implementing Global HRIS systems/technologies and working with IT to deliver a single HR platform that supports the organization.
• Experience in conceptualizing and designing health & Welfare benefit plan offerings and managing third party solution providers. Experience implementing employee self service centers also required.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with senior management and employees; ability to present facts and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
• Tenacity and ability to build from scratch are imperative.
• Should have experience in working in a high performance environment with rapid growth.
• Prior experience in the technology industry is a plus, but not a requirement.
