Summary

Manager, Benefits Governance. Salary to $120k + Bonus – Lyndhurst, NJ
Job Function:
Assist in development of two-year implementation plan for company's recently approved Benefits Governance Structure for all companies (domestic and international). Lead plan implementation. Provide oversight for domestic plans and practices governed by ERISA, FMLA, ADA and executive deferred compensation and/or retirement plans. Conduct compliance audits for plan documents and processes and make recommendations for corrections including cost/impact analyses. Ensure appropriate processes and documents are in place, i.e., HIPAA for the Group Health Plan, government filings, renewal process, plan documents, etc. Coordinate efforts for international organizations. May have an active role in contract negotiations or work with plans and/or consultants. Take lead role in other benefits projects as needed.


Desired Experience
Required Knowledge:

An independent leader with experience in developing significant new processes, strong attention to detail and compliance needs, strong project management and organizational skills, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, comfortable dealing with all levels in the organization, knowledge of benefits programs and legal requirements, ability to assess the impact of problems including financial and impact analyses.

Required Experience:

6-8 years of benefits and/or HR experience in a leadership role.

Special Requirements:

Experience with Six Sigma a plus.
